WINTER STORAGE TIPS
Winter has arrived in many parts of the US (and definitely in Canada!). With ice cold temperatures and snowfall in the forecast, we thought now would be the perfect time to remind you of a few storage tips for Alliance Gator products.
To keep your Alliance Gator hardscape products in their best condition, we've put together a few simple tips for proper storage.
The products listed below can safely be stored outdoors:
*Pallets of polymeric sand must be covered with pallet jackets to maintain the integrity of the product.
**Nitro Sand should never be stored in direct sunlight or exposed to heat above 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
These products need to be kept in a climate controlled environment:
Lastly, here’s a list of products that should be stored indoors but do not require climate control:
*Extreme Edge is a cementitious product which means it must be kept dry.
**While we recommend storing adhesives in a climate controlled environment, it is not required. With that said, it’s very important that these types of products are kept dry.
***Solvent-based sealers should never be stored in direct sunlight or exposed to heat above 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
While we use extremely high quality labels on all of our products, direct UV light or moisture can accelerate the degradation of some labels. Storing products in front of windows or inside greenhouses will magnify the effects of UV rays and intensify its impact.
